Who partied with a Transformer at SXSW? We did.

SXSW saw its share of cool collaborations, hot performances and cutting-edge releases this year, with Mashable and our partners in the center of it all.

We teamed up with Hasbro to get people excited for Transformers: Earth Wars, a real-time strategy and combat video game. In attendance at the Mashable House was none other than Bumblebee himself, who mixed and mingled with the crowd, posed for photos and greeted people when they stopped by to snag a free Transformers toy.

On Saturday night, the 10-foot-tall autobot joined us and 200 of our guests for a party in the Mashable House, where the bluesy band Mount Holly played a live set and got the crowd on their feet. The band’s song “Roll Out” is the lead single for the upcoming Transformers-inspired album of the same name (and can be heard in the trailer below). Read more…
