Villanova won the NCAA championship on Monday night, thanks to a buzzer-beating three-pointer that instantly goes down as one of the greatest shots in March Madness history.
Kris Jenkins is now a hero forever.
Jenkins took a pass from point guard Ryan Arcidiacono, who raced up-court after receiving the inbounds pass with 4.7 seconds left and Villanova down three points, then calmly hit a deep jumper to give the Wildcats their second NCAA title.
Just before, North Carolina star Marcus Paige had hit a double-pump miracle shot of his own to tie the game 74-74. Read more…
