Trump: Maybe Obama would have attended Scalia's funeral 'if it were held in a Mosque'

Donald Trump suggested on Saturday that President Obama might have opted to attend the funeral of Justice Antonin Scalia “if it were held in a Mosque.”
Trump’s comments were made Saturday on Twitter as thousands mourned Scalia, who died at age 79 last weekend after nearly 30 years on the bench.
Obama’s decision not to attend Scalia’s funeral on Saturday has drawn criticism from Republicans, despite the fact that there is limited historical precedent for presidents attending the funerals of sitting justices
The last justice to die while on the bench was Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist in 2005. President George W. Bush did attend his funeral, and eulogized Rehnquist. But prior to Rehnquist, the last justice to die in office was Robert H. Jackson in 1954. Read more…
