LONDON — The Bataclan concert hall, where 90 people were shot dead in the November terrorist attacks in Paris, will re-open to the public this November, one year after the massacre, the managers said in a Facebook statement.
British singer Pete Doherty will help reopen the venue with a gig on November 16, which will be followed by shows by the Senegalese star Youssou N’Dour, Nada and MZ.
Other shows will be announced in the next few days, the post says.
“Renovation works at Bataclan have started,” the venue managers said. “They consist in the refurbishment of all the infrastructure and equipment of the concert hall without changing its original arrangement.” Read more…
