Showtime is hopping on the all-at-once release model with new show 'Dice'

Showtime is pulling a Netflix with its new comedy, Dice

For the first time in the network’s history, the entire six-episode first season of Andrew Dice Clay’s new semi-autobiographical comedy will be made available for binge watching on the same day it premieres on the network. The episodes will go live on Showtime’s streaming service and be available on demand at midnight on April 10 before premiering on the network at 9:30 p.m. ET that same day.

Future episodes will air weekly.

“We’re excited to release Dice in its entirety across our streaming, on demand and authenticated viewing platforms,” said Gary Levine, president of programming. “With its six episode run, we feel this comedy is ideally suited to being consumed all at once.
