Channel tunnel may be extended to stop migrants and refugees stowing away

LONDON — The Channel tunnel connecting England to France may be extended to enable trains to avoid a section of the track in Calais where migrants and refugees have disrupted services
It’s the first time since the tunnel opened 22 years ago that it’s been extended, The Times reports.
