Cartoons of a crying Tintin are used to pay tribute to Brussels

Tintin, the character created by Belgian cartoonist Georges Remi, is being used to pay tribute to the victims of Tuesday morning’s attacks in Brussels.

Images of the world-famous cartoon character in tears have been widely shared across Instagram and Twitter, often with the hashtag #JeSuisBruxelles, in the hours following the explosions.
