Building a better 'baby's first shooter' in 'Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2'

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is the only game in which a floppy, smiling sunflower can obliterate a zombie pirate and his airstrike-summoning parrot with a precision beam of raw solar energy.
Things get weird in PopCap Games’ latest kid-friendly shooter, which one-ups its 2014 predecessor in almost every conceivable way. This is Call of Duty for the under-17 crowd — but the finely-crafted action and multi-layered features make it an all-ages hoot that any fan of video game pew-pew can enjoy.
