Breakfast TV show pulled off air as fire breaks out at studios

LONDON — Good Morning Britain, one of the cosy TV shows that greet TV viewers across the country as the day gets going, was hit by drama Friday morning as a fire broke out at broadcaster ITV’s central London studio buildings.
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters rushed to the blaze and 50 people were evacuated while it was extinguished. No one was injured, according to a statement from London Fire Brigade.
“The Brigade was called at 06:57 and the fire was under control by 08:43,” they said. “Fire crews from Lambeth, Dowgate and Soho fire stations were at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.” Read more…
