Bitbucket adds a search function to help developers comb through massive repos

Atlassian has added a few features to BitBucket, which now lets developers search for code snippets and use modifiers to narrow the results. Developers maintaining large codebases often have multiple repos with an ungodly amount of code. Via the early access program, Bitbucket users will be able to type in a simple search query. If the search function returns too many results, you can use modifiers like repo: or project: to narrow the field. You can also search by language (lang:) or file extension (ext:). Additionally, you can use terms like ‘AND’ or ‘NOT’ to whittle it down even further.…
