Aussies think Netflix and Stan are better value for money than Foxtel

It’s been more than one year since Netflix launched in Australia, and it seems it can still do no wrong.
The U.S. streaming service has beat out Australia’s largest pay TV provider Foxtel in customer satisfaction and value for money, according to a survey.
Netflix came first in “overall satisfaction,” followed by homegrown streaming option Stan, according to an admittedly small customer survey by consumer researcher Canstar Blue. Presto and Quickflix came fourth and fifth, respectively.
According to the 2,029 subscription TV users surveyed in early 2016, Netflix and Stan also beat Foxtel when it came to value for money, being awarded five stars and four stars compared to Foxtel’s three. Foxtel still had an edge, however, when it came to range of content and new release availability. Read more…
