Artist transforms sewers into teensy tiny dwellings

Milan-based artist Biancoshock has taken to the streets of his hometown for his most recently published project, turning abandoned manholes into claustrophobic dwellings.
Although cute and in line with rise of the trendy tiny home, Biancoshock found inspiration for the project, entitled Borderlife, from people who are forced to live in extreme conditions, including sewers.

“If some problems can not be avoided, make them comfortable,” Biancoshock writes on his website.

Biancoshock also points to the city of Bucharest, which reportedly has hundreds of people leaving in its sewers. Read more…
