Android Pay launching in the UK in the next few months

The wait is almost over. Google announced on Wednesday Android Pay will be launching in the UK in the next few months.
Android Pay is Google’s own mobile payment platform for smartphones. Like the iPhone’s Apple Pay, Android users with compatible phones can use their smartphones to make purchases at supported merchants. Android Pay will also work with the London Tube.
Here are some of the retailers that will support Android Pay at launch:

When it launches in the UK, Android Pay will work with MasterCard and Visa credit and debit cards from banks including HSBC, Bank of Scotland, First Direct, Halifax, Lloyds Bank, M&S Ban, MBNA and Nationwide Building Society. Read more…
