LOS ANGELES — Hello! Mashable entertainment editor Josh Dickey here, doing that thing where I talk to you directly. Or as they call it in entertainment, “breaking the 4th wall.”
If you’re not an in-the-know industry
douche err, type, the “4th wall” is a theater-nerd speak that once referred to the imaginary boundary at the front of the stage. Unless you want to break the spell, you’re not supposed to acknowledge it.
Unless you’re Deadpool. Or Ferris Bueller. Or Bugs Bunny. Oh, and Genie from Aladdin. It’s a pretty privileged club.
