Every year, Mashable brings the Internet to life for those who flock to Austin for SXSW. The Mashable House has become a staple of the festival, and this year, it packed as big a punch as ever
But if you weren’t lucky enough to visit the 2016 Mashable House, we’ve got you covered. Here’s our recap of some of the best stuff Mashable brought to Austin this year:
1. Mindblowing free food & beverages!
Mashable and PepsiCo collaborated to bring SX-goers the most interesting food and beverage options in Austin. The PepsiCo NSPIRE kitchen on wheels offered in-the-know visitors the chance to be their own mixologists — co-creating over 1,000 unique beverage options from two Pepsi Spire machines — and channel their inner gourmet chef with some wild culinary creations. The truck delivered tasty treats like Mountain Dew-glazed bacon and Sabra tacos, Naked Beet juice & Pepsi-glazed chicken wings tossed in Cool Ranch Dorito togarashi, Tostitos & Pepsi-marinated chipotle chicken tacos and Quaker egg white and oat casserole — just to name a few.
