“Cobbler,” episode two of Better Call Saul’s second season, reunites us with Jimmy’s mentally troubled older brother Chuck, and brings us glorious dialogue that should be honored in TV Hall of Fame: “Hoboken squat cobbler,” along with alternative phrasings including “Dutch apple ass,” “fullmoon moon pie,” and “Boston cream splat.”

Chuck is still ailing from what he believes to be electromagnetic sensitivity — but as we know from Season 1, Chuck’s “condition” is actually a figment of his imagination, a product of a strange spiral that has left him bound to his home and virtually unable to work as a lawyer. Read more…
