American Airlines is suing Gogo because even airlines hate slow in-flight Wi-Fi

Much like its customers, American Airlines wants better Wi-Fi on flights. To accomplish this, the airline is suing its in-flight Wi-Fi provider Gogo in an effort to get the company to either improve speeds, or allow the airline to break its contract. Originally spotted by BuzzFeed News, a regulatory filing shows that American claims to have found a better provider in ViaSat but under the terms of its existing contract, Gogo must create a competing proposal or allow American to terminate the agreement.
