Air Asia leaves passengers' luggage behind in Australia

At least 100 passengers landed for a holiday in Bali without their bikinis and board shorts on Saturday.

Air Asia was forced to unload a massive amount of checked-in luggage off Flight QZ535, which was heading to Denpasar, Bali from Perth, Australia on the weekend, according to The West Australian.

“In order to account for weight restrictions, 104 pieces of check-in baggage was off-loaded from the aircraft prior to departure,” the airline said in a statement. The weight restrictions were reportedly due to the plane taking off from a shorter runway at short notice.  Read more…
